Inventor 101: Tips for Editing Existing CAD

When you need to make modifications to an existing design, remember that this likely doesn’t mean you have to create new sketches, extrusions, and features for your design. Often, the changes you need to make will be possible right from the model tree. Modifying a parts thickness, the size of a fillet, formation of a pattern or even the dimensions of an existing sketch can all be changed in no time. This can even include adding details to an existing sketch, which won’t add anything to the model tree.
