Trevor English • Jul 08, 2018

Although 3D CAD designs continue to grow in popularity and use cases, the need for 2D drawings still exist. Even with the introduction of Model-Based Definition , drawings are heavily relied upon by many designers and manufactures alike. Fortunately, Autodesk Inventor makes it easy to take your 3D CAD and turn it into a 2D drawing. This includes different views of the part, adding annotations, section views and more.

In this Inventor 101 video, you’ll learn how to quickly make this happen with every kind of view you could ever imagine. With Inventor’s built-in features, you’ll find that generating these 2D documents is easier than ever. Learn more in the video below!
