Have you ever seen a rendering or animation of an Autodesk Inventor design that looks to have glowing parts? Creating self illuminating materials will up your presentation game, and is only a few clicks away.
Simple, right? Just define the material to be “white.” Not so fast, my friends! For some reason white still looks gray, but if you define the material to be “snow,” well, it is still gray. But you can change the properties by choosing to edit the snow material and activate the self-illumination checkbox. From here, you can choose various light intensities which will result in your glowing parts. Take a look at this quick video to see the full workflow:
