Welcome to the NEW Autodesk Inventor Blog

Brian Sather • 21 March 2016

Since Inventor launched back in 1999, there’s been quite a few places we’ve called home. With this new venture, our goal is to pull together everything that we’ve been sharing all over the web into the Autodesk Inventor Blog.

So, what can you expect?

Product News

Since April of 2015, there have been 3 new versions of Inventor containing some massive new functionality. AnyCAD, Shape Generator, and A360 Design Shares have all been released in the past 12 months. And those are in addition to the hundreds of other new features and enhancements we’ve delivered on that were the direct result of requests made by our customers through the IdeaStation or at events like Autodesk University.

As we move forward, you’ll get to see all the latest and greatest stuff here first.

Tutorials

With all that functionality comes the need to learn a thing or two. Whether it’s something brand new or a tip on something old, we want to make sure you’re getting the most out of the software.

Stories & Inspiration

There are tens of thousands of designers and engineers that use Inventor every day to create some amazing stuff. Not pretty renderings. Real things. We’re going to tell those stories and take you behind the scenes of how it’s made. #BeautifulEngineering

So once again, welcome to our new home and stay tuned for more to come.
